Bottleneck Blues: Intro to Slide Guitar Workshop
April 25 @ 1pm (90-minute class for beginning and intermediate slide players)

This workshop will teach you what you need to know to begin and/or advance your slide guitar playing and emotional expression. The workshop will introduce the songs and licks of blues slide guitar masters Robert Johnson and Mississippi Fred McDowell. Other topics covered will include types of slides, guitar setup, playing clean notes, rhythmic patterns, vibrato and right and left hand damping techniques.
Bring your guitar, a slide and an audio or video recorder.
